IPL
IPL, or intense pulsed light, releases many wavelengths of light during your treatment. The energy scatters to penetrate the top layer of skin but does not cause any damage to the top surface. IPL reduces the appearance of age spots, sun damage, freckles, spider veins or broken blood vessels, rosacea redness, and birthmarks.
Diode laser hair removal
Say goodbye to razors and wax appointments with diode laser hair removal. This system uses a single wavelength of light to penetrate the outer layer of skin and reach pigmented hair follicles that lie beneath. Diode Laser Details: A Diode laser is a semiconductor device that produces coherent radiation (in which the waves are all at the same frequency and phase) with a wavelength of 808nm it has a deep penetration and is attracted to the pigment in the hair and skin. It can be used on skin types 1-6 for hair reduction. Based on the selective photo thermolysis theory, laser energy is preferentially absorbed by melanin in hair, damaging the hair follicle which loses its ability to regenerate in varying degrees based on the hair growth stage. ​ Lasers remove hair though a process called Selective Photo Thermolysis in which energy in the form of wavelengths is delivered into the hair shaft and follicle. The light is attracted to and absorbed by the melanin and this heat up the tissue causing thermal damage to the follicle resulting in hairs weakening or not growing back.  At the same time, the unique sapphire contact cooling technology in the handpiece cools down the epidermis to prevent a burning sensation. Therefore, SDL-B Diode Laser Therapy System can be a less painful treatment and have permanent hair removal after 8-10 sessions.  The number of treatments can vary from person to person but usually 4-6 treatments will give you a reduction of up to 80-90% and then maintenance treatments 2~3 times a year. If there is a hormonal imbalance you may be required for more maintenance treatments. Depending on the area being treated it can be anywhere from 4-6 weeks in between treatments. The hair growth cycle on the face is usually four weeks while the legs is normally six weeks but this can vary from person to person.  Diode laser targets the pigment in the hair so the hair must be medium brown to black the darker the better, for best results. Behind the Diode laser technology you can also treat blonde, red grey or white hair. Due to the less amount of pigment within blonde, red grey or white hair, the results will be less impressive as the black hair.  This device adopts a continuous pulse output mode. Once appropriate parameters are set, treatment can begin by sweeping over the area to be treated. During the treatment process, the laser with 808nm wavelength penetrates epidermis and reaches the skin corneum layer and be absorbed by the melanin down to the hair follicle and surrounding tissues which is then turned from energy into heat. If hair is at the desired hair growth stage the follicle is damaged and ceases to grow. An Effective and quick slide treatment based on consecutive pulse output makes laser hair removal more safe, convenient and quicker.  Laser Selective Photothermic effect plays a decisive role in hair removal. As the fundamental theory for Diode Laser’s hair removal function, Laser Selective Photothermy makes the target tissues (melanin in follicle and hemoglobin in hair papilla nutrient vessels) shows perfect absorbency to specific wavelength. Treatment time for each pulse should be equal to or less than target issues’ thermal relaxation time. In consequence, Diode Laser Therapy System is safe and permanent for hair removal. With a wavelength of 808nm, Diode Laser Therapy System penetrates into the skin with a depth of 2.5mm. Its influences cover hair follicles in different positions with different depths. Scattered in hair follicles stromal cells, melanin will be transferred to hair shaft during the process of hair growth.  Melanin is rich in hair follicle epithelium, hair papilla, and hair cortex. Melanin selectively absorbs laser energy and the produced energy immediately forms local high temperature, which damages hair follicles and hair shaft, hinders and terminates hair growth. Laser energy tends to be easily absorbed by melanin in hair follicle and hemoglobin in dermal papilla nutrient vessels, and then producing photothermal effects. When the temperature in hair follicles rises to some certain degree, thermal expansion happened in hair follicle fractures melanin cells and be pushed out of hair pores by steams. At the same time, dermal papilla nutrient vessels are damaged because of hemoglobin solidification. The mechanism of treatment is based on light’s selective absorption effects.  The spectrum of Intense Pulsed Light Therapy Device is continuous which contains wide wavelength ranges. It selective light filtering scope is 690/560/420-1200nm. Ascertainable effects on skin include heat, machine, electromagnetism, photochemistry and physical stimulation. The working principle of IPL lies in treating benign lesion of skin pigmentation, vascular disease and hirsutism with IPL’s photothermal effects. Treating results are realized through different target skin cells’ (including melanin, hemoglobin, collagen, and water) absorbing ability for photothermy. The combination of short pulse width, low energy density and cooling system guarantee effective treating results without injuring normal tissues. Based on principle of selective photothermy, i.e. intense pulsed light with wavelength of 690/560/420 ~ 1200nm, which will be penetrated into derma, the abnormal pigment granules and block mass absorb light and pigments will be resolved. Some resolved debris will be peeled and remains will be eliminated out of body by phagocyte. After 5-14 days, hyperpigmentation will be lighter and become normal. Treatment principle of Intense Pulsed Light Therapy Device: Multi-wavelengths and colorful wide spectrums produced by Intense Pulsed Light penetrate into epidermis and reaches dermis. Acting on abnormal pigment cells and target vascular tissue, IPL dissolves abnormal pigments, closes abnormal vessels, and stimulates regeneration of collagen. Then, elastic fibers will be rearranged and effects of pigments removal and skin rejuvenation will be achieved. This treatment is targeted, symptoms pointed and energy sufficient. ​​ HR is used for hirsutism treatment and excessive hair removal; SR is used for exogenous and endogenous pigments removal such as blue, black and brown pigment lesions. VR is mainly used for abnormal skin vascular diseases treatment
