Ultherapy is the only FDA-cleared, non-invasive procedure that lifts the neck, chin and brow, and improves lines and wrinkles on the upper chest. ULTHERAPY is HIFU High Intensity Focused Ultrasound Treatment (HIFU FACE and NECK LIFTING Treatment) The Ultherapy Treatment uses focused ultrasound energy to the same foundational layer typically addressed by surgeons during cosmetic surgery – without cutting or disrupting the surface of the skin. Unlike lasers, radio-frequency and other technologies, Ultherapy Bypass the surface of the skin to deliver energy at optimal depths, temperature, and precision. Also unique to Ultherapy, is the ultrasound imaging which allows practitioners to see the layers of the tissue treated, ensuring energy is delivered safely to where it will be most beneficial. The Ultherapy Treatment uses micro-focused ultrasound with visualization (MFU-V) to non-invasively heat tissue at multiple depths, resulting in lifting and tightening of skin. Ultherapy tightens and lifts skin without surgery or downtime. Deep tissue heated with ultrasound energy without affecting the surface of the skin. A natural regenerative response is initiated, stimulating the growth of new collagen, which lifts and tightens the skin. Results builds gradually over 2-3 months and can continue up to 6 months after the procedure. The Ulthera System is indicated for use as a non-invasive dermatological aesthetic treatment to: Lift the eyebrow Lift lax submental (beneath the chin) and neck tissue Improve lines and wrinkles of the décolleté ​ After Ultherapy, repairing and rebuilding skin process takes effect gradually. Immediately, you experience light lifting and toning and tighter feel. At first month, additional smoother texture is noticed. By the third month and beyond, improved contour starts to be realized. As such Ultherapy is an ideal minimally invasive treatment for lifting skin on the eyebrow, under the chin and on the neck, and smooth lines and wrinkles on the décolletage. Ultherapy provides “superior efficacy,” with no downtime; immediate improvement, long-lasting results, and quick procedure times. It penetrates deeper into the skin, while preserving the epidermis. The Ulthera System, in conjunction with the Ulthera DeepSEE transducer, allows for ultrasonic visualization of depths up to 8 mm below the surface of the skin. The indicated use of the imaging is to visualize the dermal and subdermal layers of tissue to ensure proper coupling of the transducer to the skin and confirm appropriate depth of treatment such as to avoid bone. Ulthera deposits focused ultrasound energy deep beneath the skin at the optimal temperature for collagen regeneration. The treatment jumpstarts a natural process (known as neocollagenesis) and produces fresh new collagen-building. There's no pre-treatment necessary except cleaning the treatment area. Area is marked with a 25mm marking card or chest marking stencil and cosmetic pencil (face or any area of the body). The Ultherapy handpiece is used by delivering and emitting energy, high level sound wave, to heat the under skin. As the ultrasound energy is delivered, you will feel tiny amounts of energy being deposited to precise depths, Comfort levels vary from person to person, but the sensation only lasts while the ultrasound energy is being delivered. The skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours. Some experience slight swelling, tingling or tenderness to the touch, but these temporary in nature. Other, less common post-procedural effects may include temporary bruising or numbness on small areas of skin. Immediately afterwards you can return to work or social engagements. The system does not provide general slimming or weight loss. Depending on the size of the treatment area, treatment may take between 60-120 minutes: Face treatment uses 800 lines, requires 75 minutes and uses Transducers DS-4-4.5, DS 7-4.5, DS 7-30. Neck treatment uses 530 lines, requires 60 minutes and uses Transducers DS 7-4.5, DS 7 30 Chest treatment uses 280 lines, requires 30 minutes and uses Transducers DS-4-4.5, DS 7-30, DS 10- 1.5.
